The summer is now in full swing. A lot of plants has a summer shut down, therefore the cities are unusually empty. The weather in the Czech Republic is now reaching the maximum. CASTLES IN THE NIGHT (HRADOZAMECKA NOC) – 25.08.2018
If you want to visit historic castles and chateaus, be aware that Czechia is the best place. During the summer, the tours and exhibitions in the castles are enlivened by many other special events. You can watch the historical tournaments ormeet fairy-tales characters during the guided tours. Furthermore, many castles offer the guided tours in the night at the end of August. Baroque pearl in the heart of the capital city is the charming place surrounded by the beautiful gardens. Entrance is free.
Karlstejn (Central Bohemia) – 07:00 pm – 11:00 pm
This Gothic palace is the most famous and one of the oldest in the Czech Republic. You can find it forty kilometers south-west of Prague. You can visit the night guided tour also every Wednesday inJuly and August.
Hluboka nad Vltavou (South Bohemia) – 06:00 pm – 11:00 pm
One of the most charming chateaus in Czechia. During the night, you will be blown away by the beauty of this majestic building and its interiors. You can also taste the delicious game meat. Only on 25th of August.
Ruins of Bezdez Castle (Central Bohemia) – 07:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Fencing night at the unique ambiance of the huge ruins of the gothic castle Bezdez. Walk up to the top of the hill. You will be rewarded with a fantastic view of to the surrounding landscape and fencing show illuminated by the flames of the torches.

HIPHOP CAMP – FESTIVAL PARK, HRADEC KRALOVE – 23.08. – 25.08.2018
Hip Hop Kemp is the largest hip-hop festival in the Central and Eastern Europe. This year, they announce its 17th anniversary. Hip Hop Kemp is repeatedly included among the fifty best festivals in the world by CNN. It will take place at Festivalpark near Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. GRAND PRIX OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC 2018 – BRNO CIRCUIT (MASARYKUV OKRUH) – 03.08. – 05.08
This motorbikes competition is surely one of the largest sports events in the Czech Republic. It is part of the Motorcycle World Championship MotoGP series as well. Every year, even more than 200,000 motorcycle fans are coming to the Masaryk Circuit in August to watch the powerful motorbikes competing in 150cc, 250cc (Moto2) and 500cc (MotoGP) cubature categories. Training will take place on the 3rd of August, qualifications on the 4th of August and the competitions themselves on Sunday the 5th of August. As the circuit is lying only a few kilometers from Brno, this is an excellent opportunity to visit the second biggest city of the Czech Republic. Brno is the modern and pulsating city.

DESPERADOS HIGHJUMP 2018 – HRIMEZDICE (CENTRAL BOHEMIA) – 03.08. – 04.08.2018
Crazy guys jump from the height of more then 30 meters to the water of the flooded mine close to the village Hrimezdice. It´s only one hour to the south of Prague. This cliff-diving event is also the open championship of the Czech Republic. Every year, it is visited by the world’s top diving teams. In addition to the jump races, a multi-stage music program is available for visitors. Also you can watch flyboard show or try the adrenalin in the inflatable obstacle course. LETNI LETNA – FESTIVAL OF NEW CIRCUS AND THEATRE – LETENSKE SADY, PRAHA – 15.08.2018 – 02.09.2018
Letni Letna is already very traditional event nowadays. This year it celebrates the 15th anniversary. If you are in Prague at the second half of August, go to Letenske Sady to watch the shows full of contemporary circus and theatre companies.
